Gestational teething can be a creepy time for parents, let alone having new children. Fear felt started to fear baby sick, fever, and do not want to eat.

When a baby is three months old, it usually begins to show signs of growing teeth for the first time. Characterized by more saliva production and started inserting fingers into the mouth. This happens a few weeks before the teeth appear visible. Usually the first tooth appears at the age of five to 12 months. Then, in two years baby teeth have grown complete
Parents do not need to panic against baby teething. In order not to panic, before the baby grows teeth know the following three facts as quoted Parents, Thursday (08/06/2017).

1. High fever, not caused by teething

When teething, the child becomes cranky and sometimes accompanied by a mild fever. If a fever of more than 38 degrees Celsius means more causes of infection than a growing tooth.

"If the baby's temperature is high, decreased appetite, sleeping more than usual with vomiting, coughing, or rash is not due to teething, you should see a pediatrician immediately," advised child specialist Edward Kulich.

2. Pain at night, why yes?

There is no medical reason why babies feel more pain during the night. It could be because at night he is tired, then throughout the day continue to play so that pain is distracted as expressed by a pediatrician, Gaurav Gupta.

3. Prevent the rash around the chin

As teething increases the production of saliva increases and continues to occur. This makes the area around the chin often wiped. Over time make a rash.

"To avoid rashes, you should apply a special ointment to reduce the direct contact between the skin with saliva, then do not rub the chin area," said Gupta.
